ABOUT EVERYMAN
Everyman is the UK's leading male cancer campaign, set up in 1997 by The Institute of Cancer Research. Everyman's mission is to cross out male cancer. We can achieve this by making everyone recognise the tell-tale signs, and understand the importance of treating them. By increasing this awareness we also hope to raise money to fund our life-saving research.
The facts are alarming:
- Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in young men from 15-44 and the incidence rate has risen dramatically over the last twenty years.
- Prostate cancer kills one man every hour in the UK and it has now become the most common cancer in men.
- Scientists still know very little about the causes of these cancers, which is why research into these areas are vital.
Everyman is proud to be working with The Professional Footballers' Association and The Footballer's Association with Keep Your Eye On The Ball, an important and successful campaign. We hope you will join us, and help raise vital funds and awareness of male cancer. Find out more about The Everyman Campaign.
