THE FA AND THE PFA SUPPORTING MALE CANCER

Wednesday 28 March 2007: The FA, The PFA and the Everyman Male Cancer Campaign ran the annual ‘Keep Your Eye on the Ball’ awareness fortnight from the 4th – 18th March 2007, helping to raise awareness of testicular and prostate cancer to the football community.

 

FATHERS AND SONS ENCOURAGED TO MAKE EACH OTHER AWARE OF THE FACTS ABOUT MALE CANCER

Friday 2 March 2007: The Everyman Male Cancer Campaign, The FA and The PFA are calling upon fathers and sons to make each other aware of the facts about prostate and testicular cancer as a new survey conducted by Everyman has revealed that only 19% of men in the UK choose to regularly talk to their father about health matters and a staggering 98% would confide in someone else first.

 

TESTICULAR CANCER SURVIVOR COMPLETES GROUND-HOP CHALLENGE AT ARSENAL

Tuesday 30 January 2007: Simon 'Shakey' Shakeshaft completed a fantastic achievement when he finished his 'Ground-Hop' challenge, visiting all the FA Premier League, Football League and Conference National football club grounds to help raise awareness of testicular cancer.
