Participants in the 2009 event had the option to sign up as an individual runner AND on behalf of their chosen football club. Similar to The FA Cup, fans of lower division teams will found themselves pitted against the top Premiership clubs in the battle to see who is fastest over 5K and 10K.
Each football club needed to have five runners to qualify for the competition. Check out the table below to see how many runners and teams we had in the 2009 run.

If your club doesn’t reach the minimum number of five runners then, don’t worry, you can still run 4 your team on the day – just not in the competition.
Football fans are always arguing amongst themselves about who’s the better fan. So put the terrace talk to the test at the same time as supporting a vital cause.
