The first ever Keep Your Eye On The Ball Charity Cup 2009 kicked off 29th November, but it’s not only the 5-a-side football that’s raising money for us, Goals Soccer centres around the country have been busy coming up with some fantastic fundraising ideas to coincide with the Charity Cup.
On Friday 11th December Wimbledon Goals is planning a Football Trivia Quiz Night and have arranged Sony Cyber shot Digital Cameras for each member of the winning team and drinks vouchers for the runners up. There will also be spot prizes including trophies and vouchers throughout the night and, weather permitting, a crossbar challenge round to earn extra points. Staff at Teeside Goals are having a silent football match with cash penalties for every time the silence is broken! They are also inviting girls from Teesside netball league to come and have a night in the bar and raise funds via tombolla, raffle, and buffet at an evening function.
